Me and Hunter's Beach Shower

This weekend I had the joy! of having my first shower with some close friends. They took Hunter's beach nursery theme to heart and we loved it~ This was the tablescape I walked into on Saturday afternoon.

From my gals who know me well...the hostess gift wrapped in a confetti mixture of polka dot and zebra paper! Oh yeah.

~ Hunter, you are famous. The letters of your name were spelled out on this clothesline in beach paper. With onesies in between. You and Everett are going to be twinkies in that little truck cutie. ~

Girls, I thank you from the cockles of my heart. What a fun day! Thanks for going with the beach theme. Much against what you might think, I was surprised by the theme, even though I seemed to have decorated myself in Hawaiian-like flowers myself! Lindy, thank you for your smiles and encouragement... helping bring the theme to the par-tay... for all those shells that really made me smile! Ashley, thank you for opening up your home (a place of so many memories) and your time to make cookies that I will be talking about forever. You made this day so colorful and vibrant. Holly, thank you for being a friend of mine for years and supporting me with joy (and zebra paper). Erin, you are a delight to me~ thank you for encouraging me in so many ways and for always bringing spice and pizazz (I mean, do you see her cool dress?) So, I could have taken pictures with each and every one of you individually (and part of me wishes I had thought of that!), but I see much of myself in Amanda Moore-Jones when she described herself as the girl who missed half of her family vacations because she was the one always behind the camera! Please know you all have a special place in my heart~ and I took pictures yesterday, but sure didn't miss a thing--enjoying time with you all.
