...pondering the questions in life that really make a difference!
The title for this blog was inspired by a conversation I had recently with a friend from college. We were reminiscing of the old days, and I asked her if she remembered telling me shortly after she met Josh that he was perfect for me. Then SHE reminded me why she felt so strongly about the match. Laughing, she said, "Well, don't you remember the day when he asked you if you have scrunched or diffused your hair?" That was a moment to remember. :) Josh has taught me a lot of things and he has shown me love in many ways. One of those ways is caring about the little details of my world. I had taught him one day about how we as girls get our hair to have that wave after a day of perfect straightness. Josh got the DL on the diffuser, and the competing process of gelling, spritzing and scrunching. And somewhere along the way of my stories with many details, he cared to listen and remember my possible morning dilemmas regarding my hair. This question in life really did make a difference because we ended up getting married! And he still cares about the details to this day. Something my heart really connects with and longs for--something very Godly. Because God cared enough to step into our world.
"How precious to [concerning] me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand." Psalm 139:17-18
